This weekend
Mackey and I adventured up to Aspen for the
X-Games. We drove up Friday night and stayed with some friends in Beaver Creek. Woke up early Saturday morning to the smell of a mans sized breakfast and then took a few runs at BC. Then off to the games. I am working on an edit so keep a look out for that coming soon.

We got to hang out with
Jeremy for a little bit and met his family. Super nice people! Got to check out his board for next year. It looked and smelled really good.
The snowboard street event was way cooler to watch for me than the big air and even the super pipe. I can actually understand the tricks that were happening and think about trying those myself. probly wouldn't actually land most but at least I can figure out how its done. I dont even understand the big air jump and how you can feel so comfortable just hucking your life away over those jumps. Dudes are nuts. And I will never get how Shaun White can get 25 ft above the deck of a 22 ft high half pipe.

Half pipe was pretty fun. We charged our way through the gates and kinda just "head downed" our way through security and no one ever said anything to us so we just kept going up. We ended up here where Mackey was able to catch this photo. It's wild to have these dudes flying over head so high.
